Today’s ‘Uncommitted Spotlight’ features Top Gun Fighting Clams 2020 LSM Carter Hampson of Deerfield Academy (MA).

Coaches Comments: “The Deerfield product is in every sense the prototypical LSM for the modern game. Fast and rangy, Carter is great off the ground and able to push the ball in transition at an elite level. His time in the offensive end has also allowed him to develop a deadly step down and on the run shot, a trait not many sophomores had mastered last summer. Heading into his junior fall, we will be looking for Carter to continue to defend his opponent’s best midfielder and use his bevy of disruption checks to take the ball away. Like former Clam LSM’s Matt Ryan (Harvard) and Larken Kemp (Brown), Carter has the intangibles to be an elite long stick midfielder. We are excited to see him get back to work between the lines this fall!”
