Today’s ‘Uncommitted Spotlight’ features Top Gun Fighting Clams 2020 defenseman Ryan Rahbany of Rivers School (MA).

“Rahbany is a rare talent who is athletic enough to play LSM, while also big and strong enough to dominate matchups down low. He is a cerebral defenseman, who finds himself in the right places to make plays both on and off ball. Coaches in our program call him the “eraser”, because he quietly but successfully erases his matchup from the score sheet. His play may at times be less noticeable to the casual lacrosse fan than that of some others, and I can assure you his presence is always noticed by line mates and opponents alike. Ryan is a leader on both his Rivers and Clam teams. He projects to be a great lockdown defender at the next level, and his often dominant ground ball play will no doubt get him on the stat sheet in a high tempo system.”
