Today’s ‘Uncommitted Spotlight’ features Top Gun Fighting Clams (MA) 2020 goalie Michael Nassif of the Millbrook School.
Lacrosse Honors: 2x State Semi-Finalist at Hanover High School;
Started for Archbishop WIlliams as an 8th Grader;
183 saves on 319 Shots (57% SP) as a Sophomore;
Named as an All Star in the Summer of 2016 at both the Sweetlax Invitational and the Baltimore Summer Kickoff;
Named Patriot League (Mass) Goalie of the Year for his play in the Spring of 2017
Academic Honors: Honor Roll Student
Main Attributes according to club coaches: A highly athletic and exceptionally competitive goaltender, the righty Nassif will become one of nation’s truly elite goalies now that he has decided to reclassify and become a member of the 2020 class.
Coaches Comments: “With two older brothers spending some time playing Division 1 lacrosse, Michael has learned that nothing comes easy when your aspirations are high. It’s with this foundation firmly in place that Michael has seen his ambition kick into overdrive. Coach Williams at Millbrook noticed something special about Michael’s ability and potential, and pursued him to come to Millbrook. He is now in his sophomore year there, having chosen to repeat the grade after coming over from Hanover High School, where Michael led his Varsity team to back to back deep Massachusetts State Playoffs runs.”
This Fall’s tournaments: This fall, Nassif plans to attend the 3d Mayflower Tournament in Taunton Mass on 11/5 (where he’ll play up with the 2019’s), and the 3d/FLG Tourament on 11/12 in Milford, DE as well as the Philly Showcase individual and team events on 11/18 and 11/19 in Downingtowm, PA
